"It has been a wonderful journey being part of the Wits Healthcare Innovation Student Society. I've loved every minute of being part of this brilliant team- within one year we have grown significantly and have created a solid foundation for the society. We successfully hosted our first event as a brand new student society - the event was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. I'm glad that the society incorporates medical students as well as students from other faculties - together we will be able to create an interest in developing innovative equipment, procedures and ideas to improve the medical sector and positively impact on the lives of our future patients through this amazing platform."
